Have you ever wondered what are the best things to ask when your interviewer asks “Do you have any questions for me?” at the interview? This is a great time to interview them back. 👀

Interviews are a 2-way street. It’s a chance for the company to find out more about you, and for you to find out more about the company to see if they are a good fit for you. It’s important to come with questions - it also shows them that you are prepared and curious about the company, too.
You can find out more about who is your interviewer, if you missed anything during your interview, how is design valued, how does one move up the ladder, what growth opportunities are available, and more. Sometimes, you might vibe with your interviewer and become friends!
This typically happens during the last 5 minutes of your interview. Make sure you prioritize what you want to find out most.
1. Do you have any questions about my qualifications? (Also: Have I answered all your questions?)
2. What is your favorite project you’ve worked on at [company] and why?
3. Has [company] changed your original career path?
4. Which hard and soft skills make a successful employee at [company]?
5. What have past employees done to be successful at [company]?
6. How is success measured at [company]?
7. What career development resources are available at [company]?
8. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
9. How do you see [company] and [industry] evolving in the next 5 years?
10. What are the next steps and timeline for my interview process?
11. Is there anything else I can provide to help you and your team make a decision?
